PORT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR FOR TANZANIA.

JOB FOR PORT OPERATION MANAGER IN TANZANIA

HR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for port operations supervisor to manage and monitor vendors responsible for the safe, efficient & economical handling of vessel’s operations while alongside at the port.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises vessel planning activities prior to the ship arriving to the port

• Ensures the load & discharge is performed accurately & timely

• Responsible for ensuring vessels sail at the earliest time possible

• Interacts with tracking companies to facilitate the timely delivery of containers

•Completes required documents associated with operations in an accurate & timely manner

•Works closely with Terminal management & customer service teams to ensure container traffic is handled by the port in a timely manner

Requirements:

•Diploma / degree in Maritime, Logistics or any related field

•Three years experience in similar position

• Maritime terminal experience is a plus
